Duntisbourne House for sale in the Cotswolds

As regular readers will know we try to only highlight REAL luxury properties each week, I don’t think we will disappoint this week!

Duntisbourne House located in the stunningly beautiful village of Duntisbourne Abbotts is for sale. If you have not heard of Duntisbourne Abbotts then it is probably because the village is trying to keep a low-key, the last thing they want is to be on the “tourist list”.

They have good reason too as the village is one of the most beautiful Cotswold villages there is, think the typical Cotswold stoned village and there you have it!

We don’t normally include a photo of the village in our posts but this one is special!

Property Description:

Duntisbourne House enjoys a private location, ensconced within some 70 acres of its own mature pasture, wood and parkland. The house itself is perfectly situated above the Frome Valley taking full advantage of the south-westerly aspect and stunning unspoilt views of the valley and Edgeworth Manor beyond. No public rights of way traverse the property ensuring privacy and seclusion. The pretty village of Edgeworth is less than a mile away. Duntisbourne House has been and designed and built to account for the increasing demand for a 'healthy home.' As part of the design great care has been taken with infrastructure: A dedicated ‘energy centre' sits apart from the house near to the stable buildings, housing essential power and utility points. Much of the wiring inside the house has been triple-coated to contain electro-magnetic fields and trickle vents are in the tops of all the windows to keep fresh air flowing throughout the house. The computerised lighting system allows precision dimming to occur in such a way that does not cause electro magnetic emission problems, unlike most normal dimmer systems. It also has the maximum possible natural light spectrum.
